In 2015, scientists from the Czech Academy of Sciences, chemists and leading European experts in the field of nanotechnology, Ing. Daniel Bouša , Ph.D. , PhD in Chemistry and Ing. Ability of adsorption material «ART CARBON» c CNT 99.99% effective filtering rotavirus from wastewater from the Prague sewerage plant was demonstrated by scientists from the Prague Chemical Technology Institute At the university. Their research data , which can be found here showed here that CNT material «ART CARBON» excellently destroys rotavirus A, even after a short exposure time.
The fact that CNTs are hydrophobic (slightly repel water molecules) allows water to pass through them at high speed and with very little energy expenditure . This effect was first described in 2006 [3] and confirmed in research by Czech scientists . The water molecules at the center of the CNT molecule will tend to be repelled from the walls and flow into the center, meaning that the water molecules are forced to flow through the center of the CNT in a single line without much friction or adhesion to either the molecular walls or other water molecules.
Due to the slight pressure gradient that primarily directs water into the CNT, this allows water to be filtered at high speed and low pressure.
Hydrogen bonds between water molecules facilitate this process, making it stable and repeatable. When using CNTs of the correct diameter, hydrophobic channels cause water to break into single-row chains, and entropic effects cause these chains to spontaneously flow to the other end of the channel, forming pure water on the far side.
The ability of CNTs to form oriented bundles with an extremely large surface area and a large number of channels makes this filtration method highly effective.

- Nano Filters «ART CARBON» with Revolutionary Technology «ART CARBON PROCESS» do not require electricity and do not create flushing water At the same time, reverse osmosis technology requires powerful electric pumps to create high water pressure to force water molecules through the reverse osmosis membrane.

- The WHO recommends an ideal pH range for drinking water of 6.5 to 8.5 . While pH your water is in this range, everything is fine. Drinking water that is too alkaline or too acidic can be harmful to the body.
- Water with TDS < 100 is considered demineralized because it lacks some beneficial minerals required by the human body. Drinking such water can cause a number of long-term health problems.
- Reverse osmosis technology purifies water from impurities up to 98% and TDS can range from 15 to 100 mg/l. Reverse osmosis acidifies water to an acidic reaction, pH water can be from 4 to 6.
- Therefore, reverse osmosis water is passed through a mineralizing cartridge, usually with dolomite, to alkalize the water and add calcium and magnesium to the water and increase the TDS to 100 mg/l . In addition to calcium and magnesium, the human body also requires other useful elements such as potassium, lithium, selenium, etc. These elements are usually not present in the mineralizing cartridge.
- Large brands selling reverse osmosis systems recommend eating vegetables, herbs and fruits to replenish missing macro and microelements.
